Ed Hill has worked as a professional business consultant with numerous companies in a myriad of industries to apply Synchronous Flow and Lean Manufacturing techniques within organizations of all sizes. Prior to full-time business consulting, he served as Director of the Clemson University Apparel Research Center, which allowed him to travel the world in search of the most effective manufacturing systems. Ed has worked directly with Dr. Eli Goldratt, author of The Goal, on a number of projects related to teaching and implementing the Theory of Constraints. Ed is the author of Basics of Supply Chain Management, St. Lucie Press, 2001, and numerous articles on business process flow approaches.
