Engaging Your People

Your people are the source of process knowledge and solutions – your people are your intellectual assets. The design of systems for daily process management contributes to your people’s ability to apply themselves to the fullest.

People work best when they are empowered to gather data and take action – the systems provided by the stability foundation can enable people to effectively manage their work processes and to be accountable for their processes. Leaders must expect this level of engagement.

Engaging your people is NOT simply about involving people in teams or team meetings.

It IS about engaging people in daily management of their work processes:
· Analyzing data,
· Maintaining the workplace,
· Improving methods,
· Making decisions,
· Taking action and
· Solving problems.

Through engaging people in managing their work process, problems are solved as close as possible in time and location to the occurrence of a problem or process disruption.
